Derek Fields is a contributing writer for Coffee or Die. He is interested in all things related to shooting, hunting, fitness, dogs, and combat sports. After graduating college, Derek spent five years with CrossFit Inc., the corporate headquarters of the CrossFit fitness brand, working on a variety of issues related to intellectual property, government relations, public health, and exercise & nutrition science. He now lives in Orlando with his American Alsatian dog, Ragnar, and owns Urd Fitness & Nutrition, which specializes in providing nutrition programming and coaching for doctors’ offices, gyms, and individuals around the world.
